The Comprehensive PrepMD Passport Series – CRM, EP, IC and SH

Who: Prepare for an industry or clinical role such as a Cardiac Clinical specialist, EP Mapping Specialist, Cardiac Sales Representative, Cath Lab Tech or EP Lab Tech

Overview: The PrepMD Passport Series is an online learning resource for working professionals and full-time students who want to start or advance a sales or clinical career in the cardiac medical device space. The series is completed sequentially with 6 months access to each Series 1-3, and 3 months access to each Capstone Series. Individuals complete modules at their own pace, maintaining access while advancing from Series to Series.

Series 1 Cardiac Foundations
Lays the foundation of cardiac anatomy and physiology, rhythm interpretation, cardiovascular disease states, and provides an introduction to Cardiac Rhythm Management, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart devices, procedures, technologies, and the related career pathways in these specialties.

Series 2 Device Fundamentals
Strengthens knowledge for a deeper and detailed understanding of cardiac devices and therapies across Cardiac Rhythm Management, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart platforms.

Series 3 Practical Applications
Brings the online user virtually into the procedure room and device clinic, providing an opportunity to observe a variety of cardiac procedures and device programming along with detailed instruction on the devices, therapies, and procedures. At the conclusion of Series 3 individuals move on to the Capstone Series: Advanced Pathways where they choose one or more areas of cardiac specialty.

Allows users to pursue career interests from a suite of in-depth, tailored content in CRM – Cardiac Rhythm Management, EP – Electrophysiology, IC – Interventional Cardiology, SH – Structural Heart, or RM – Remote Monitoring (Remote Monitoring Passport Holders complete Series 1, Series 2, and then move directly into the Remote Monitoring Advanced Pathway)
